Discover Italy’s Native Vegetation Wonders

The native vegetation of Italy reflects the diversity of the prevailing physical environments in the country. There are at least three zones of differing vegetation: the Alps, the Po valley and the Mediterranean-Apennines area.
Discover this extraordinarily varied vegetation is an unforgettable experience. Every season of the year offers different landscapes. Late spring and summer are the months of bloom and high altitude hiking. In autumn, the woods change color, while for chamois mating period begins. In winter the snowy territory lends itself to walks with snowshoes, cross-country skiing and mountaineering, with the possibility of seeing animals in their beautiful winter coat. In addition to national parks, protected areas and marine parks/reserves are the perfect scenery to get in touch with the energy of nature, with the history and the environment, breathing atmospheres bathed in the light of tradition.
